What was your health status?
I have had this problem since childhood. Went through every diet possible as a teen & lost 25 kilograms. Then over the course of 10 years I gained it all back & move. My existing back conditioned also worsened until I ended up in hospital. I was constantly uncomfortable and self-conscious.
What step had you taken previously to get your health and weight under control?
It all started with the Atkins Diet at age 11. Then I tried shakes, various celebrity diets, pills, starving myself and weight watchers (which is how I originally lost 25 kgs).
What were your frustrations up to this point?
I was beyond frustrated. I seemed to be caught in awful, never-ending cycling.
How were you referred to our program?
I was referred by my friend Shannon. We used to go to high school together and I saw her progress & success on Facebook so contacted her for the information.
What were some of your fears about beginning this program if any?
I thought it would be far more restrictive. My worst fear was that this would just be another diet that I’ve tried and failed.
What were your desires or outcomes you expected?
I didn’t expect to lose weight this quickly. I just wanted to lose weight, no matter how fast or slow it took. I was desperate.
What are you results?….How have you improved?
So far I have almost lost 20 kilos. My back pain has almost gone.
