About Belinda O’Sullivan
I have always been passionate about helping people reach their full potential and reach their own personal goals. My own personal journey in this lifetime led me into the health & wellness industry. In 2003 I studied to become a massage therapist, and am still a practicing therapist in this field. This led me into learning about the energy systems, the human spirit & what we hold onto in our minds, trauma in the body and what causes dis-ease in the body. It truly took me on a journey of self-healing and inspired me to learn different modalities including Reiki.
In 2009 I decided to set a goal to reach my best ever fitness level, my best body ever. I was going through a challenging time in my life, and I needed a new goal, one that would keep me inspired and grow me as a person. I had always been a runner and had been doing resistance training all my life, but I had never reached my pinnacle. So I embarked on a journey to do a body sculpting competition. The first year I read a lot of books, trained like a demon, but I wasn’t ready. I read a story in my favorite fitness magazine, that so inspired me, that I finally decided to step out of my comfort zone and ask for the help I needed. I was living on Mt Tamborine at the time and I headed down the coast a couple of times a week for Personal training sessions with an amazing female bodybuilder, and every other day trained on the mountain. I had set a goal that I was going to get up on stage before I was 40. This was ground breaking for me on so many levels. Everything I had learned up until this point helped me achieve this goal. It took a lot of determination to reach this goal, working four jobs, bringing up my daughter as a sole parent, food prep, training, posing, routine & stepping out of my comfort zone. The thought of not reaching this goal was so painful to me, that I pushed myself through with visualization, positive self-talk, and having my family, friends and a positive network of people supporting me through my more challenging moments. The important piece of the puzzle I was missing before embarking on this journey, was diet, and the knowledge I gained through asking for help, and my own thirst for knowledge has led me on a journey to where I now stand. I had been a vegetarian for 20 years, and after a lot of reading, soul searching I decided to include meat protein back into my diet. The results started speaking for themselves. In September 2010 I stepped onto that stage, I made it, and it was one of the most empowering journeys that I had embarked upon. My love of training, and the positive effect this had on every part of my life, led me to become a Personal Trainer in 2011 and I opened my own business Bella Jane Fitness. I wanted to help other people feel like me, and share my knowledge of resistance training and building lean muscle, and the correct way to eat to achieve results. Over time gaining a better knowledge of how to fuel your body, and supplementation using whey protein, I now understand that it is not necessary to use meat protein as the only method of getting the correct amount of protein to sustain your lean muscle mass
Over the years as a Personal Trainer I have observed, trained and coached the most amazing people. I have been blessed to watch many people reach their goals, and have observed many who have struggled to reach their weight loss goals. Always wanting to learn more, I looked deeper into the power of the mind, and what helps us achieve our goals, and what stops us achieving them. The human mind is a beautiful tool to be mastered, and through learning techniques to achieve a positive mindset is one of the most valuable tools in achieving your dreams. I have also been asking questions, and looking into healthy eating plans to help people lose unwanted body fat. Everyone needs to achieve goals to stay inspired on their journey, and I am excited to have found the answers to my questions and be a part of the Nutrition & Weight loss Company, and a team of people who are dedicated to your success.
I believe that when you move your body, you change your physiology, which in turn causes your thinking and mindset to change, which in turn affects the nature of your spirit, your life force energy.
